Here are four wee blankies in I Love This Yarn Cobblestonia. These were all made with one skein. Skeins are 5oz/142g, 252yd/230m. Lot #622950. I used an I hook. I used a single crochet edging around the last one as I didn’t quite have enough yarn to go around again. I had a couple yards left. The pattern is Star Blanket by Crystals Patch, an 8 point round ripple. After making one, I didn’t need to refer to the pattern again. They are about 10-10 1/2″.
This one is made with Baby Bee Sweet Delight Prints in color Kitty. Skeins are 4oz/115g, 377yd/345m. Lot 570795. I used the #7 hook. The pattern is Very Berry Blanket by Heather Anderson of The UnRaveled Mitten. I think I chained 46 to make a 13″ blankie. The ruffles were fun, something different to do.
As I mentioned in a previous post, hubby is having physical therapy for a broken shoulder. I don’t do a lot of selfies but got it in my head to take one while I waited for him at his last session. Here I am working on another blankie.
Here is that finished blankie plus another one the same size but the colors reversed. They are about 10″ worked with an H (5.0mm) hook and a fch of 36. The pattern is the Boho Berry Stitch Blanket at Daisy Farm Crafts. I added a border of (sc, ch 1, sk 1).
The yellow yarn is Bernat Giggles Oh Sunny Day – 3.5oz/100g, 185yds/169m skeins. This is 90% acrylic, 10% nylon #4 weight yarn.
The green is Patons Canadiana Cherished Green. Patons Candiana is 100% acrylic, #4 weight, 3.5oz/100g, 205yds/187m skeins.
I still have enough of both yarns to make another blankie.
Happy Crocheting!
